Sharpsville Area School District contracts Day to Day Substitute Para-Professionals/Instructional Aides and Teachers through Precision HR Solutions.  Substitutes in these areas are no longer employees of Sharpsville Area School District.

Precision HR will be responsible for employing substitutes in these areas and filling all day to day absences.  Questions regarding employment with Precision HR may be directed to Suzanne Walsh at [email protected] or call 888-416-4338.

NOTE: Substitutes interested in applying for long term or full time positions within Sharpsville Area School District will still need to complete the District’s professional application process.

Employment at Sharpsville Area School District

Sharpsville Area School District accepts applications for employment for professional and support staff positions year-round.  All applications are kept on file for one year.  All positions are posted internally and on our website.
 
 
The Sharpsville Area School District accepts the PA State Standard Application for professional positions. We require a copy of your PA certification, current clearances (PA Criminal Check; Child Abuse History Clearance and F.B.I. Criminal History Clearance), health and tuberculin test results, a resume, copies of transcripts, Praxis scores and letters of recommendation.

The Sharpsville Area School District, an “Equal Opportunity Employer” is seeking Pennsylvania Certificated Candidates for a DIRECTOR OF STUDENT SERVICES.
This position exists to provide effective programmatic and supervisory support to school district personnel and parents to assure that individuals (ages 3–21) with disabilities receive a free and appropriate public education. Master’s Degree or equivalency and a minimum of three years of teaching experience in the related area of supervisory assignment is preferred. Previous supervisory and special education experience is preferred. Pennsylvania Certification for Supervisor of Special Education or Pennsylvania Administrative Certification in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification Guidelines is required.
