Congratulations to all of our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Blue Devils who competed in the 2026 Margaret Falvo Youth Literacy Award Contest! This annual competition honors Margaret Falvo, a devoted reader who cherished books and instilled a love for reading in her grandchildren. Her lifelong dedication to education and literature continues to inspire young minds, and this award not only recognizes outstanding student achievements but also celebrates Margaret’s unwavering commitment to literacy.

On Monday, March 2, 2026, contest participants, along with Margaret’s family—including her son, Rick, and her youngest daughter, Patricia (Falvo) Kozak, Sharpsville Area Senior High School alum—gathered in the elementary school library for a heartfelt awards ceremony. It was a joyful morning as our young Blue Devils shared their incredible projects and celebrated each other’s hard work.
