We are.........Sharpsville!

When thinking about the Sharpsville Area High School, many things come to mind.Sharpsville is a school that has set high standards in academics, athletics, and the arts. However, it is hard to describe this school because it is so much more. As a student attends this high school, they gain a true sense of community. Whether it is on the practice field or at a club meeting, many kids are able to find out who they are with their friends behind them. Because students are able to find out whom they are and who they want to be, the staff and curriculum can then help these individuals reach their goals.

One of the main priorities of the Sharpsville High School Staff is to help students prepare for the next chapter in their life and to be successful. Sharpsville offers a variety of AP classes and a SAT/ACT prep course to help students from the academic standpoint. For students who do not intend to go to college, Sharpsville has paired up with the Mercer County Career Center where students can learn a trade. However, it does not stop there. To help students find their potential career, it is now a graduation requirement to shadow a professional in the field that the student wishes to go into. Sharpsville’s alumni have made it evident that the success starts here. Therefore, attending Sharpsville does not only provide a fantastic high school experience, but it also insures success in the future.
