Dear Sharpsville Educational Community:

 

The Sharpsville Area School District will be returning to a remote distance learning platform starting tomorrow, Thursday, December 3, 2020.  It is our intention for face to face instruction to resume on Monday, January 4, 2021.  All extracurricular activities and practices are postponed.   High school athletics grades 9 through 12 can resume practice on Monday, December 28, 2020.   Middle school athletics can resume on Monday, January 4, 2021.  All of these dates are subject to change.

 

All three buildings have been compromised by students that have been exposed to positive COVID-19 cases outside of school.  It is imperative that if your child has been exposed to a positive case, you follow the CDC recommendations regarding quarantining.  This is not an optional decision.  If the expectation is to be able to return to face to face instruction, we need cooperation on following all safety protocols, recommendations, guidelines, and the utilization of common sense.
