Hayden Hamilton, a sophomore at Laurel High School and cornerback for the varsity football team, was involved in a collision with a visiting team’s running back on Friday, August 31. The impact resulted in a severe spinal injury and extensive surgery. He is starting rehab and staying positive. On Thursday, September 13, 2018, the Sharpsville Area School District will take part in a show of support for Hayden by wearing his school colors. To assist the Hamilton family in the long road to recovery, monetary donations will also be collected on Thursday morning by SHS Teens That Care members. There will also be a limited amount of bracelets available for $5 each (details to follow). Let’s stand for #26 and break out the GREEN on Thursday! #26STRONG
