Maxine Schell sinks 3-pointer on senior night -- crowd goes wild.
Sharpsville High School teacher Mrs. Springer had a chance to sit down with Senior Maxine Schell, to talk about the big game against Grove City this past Wednesday night.

When asked, What does Sharpsville High School Girls Basketball mean to you?

Maxine’s response was, “I love coming to our practices and watching the team. I love helping to get them ready and hyped for the games. It also means a lot to me that my girls come to my Bocce games. Next year, after I graduate, I'm going to do the same thing and come and watch the girls and support them because they support me.”

Mrs. Springer then asked, What advice do you have for the team?

Maxine responded with, “Get out there and try your best. Try to win some games and finish your season strong. It may be tough with some good teams but I believe in you. I know you can do it. Play hard.”

Maxine’s closing remarks were, “To my coaches and fellow seniors - I love you guys. I will miss you so much but I will see you around. Thank you for helping me the past four years. Be the hammer, not the nail.”

Congratulations Maxine on a great game!
